Chairman
Wendell McCain is Chairman of Worldwide Distribution, LLC and one of three founding partners of Parish Capital Advisors, an alternative asset management and investment firm with more than $1 billion in managed assets. Wendell is an experienced advisor, direct investor and limited partner in the private equity industry.

Prior to founding Parish Capital, Wendell served as vice president at BancBoston Ventures, a venture capital group that provides funds for emerging growth companies, buyouts, recapitalizations and expansions. Wendell’s group managed a diversified private equity portfolio valued at $600 million as well as a direct investment portfolio of 11 early-stage companies and four limited partnerships. Wendell served as a board advisor or member for seven of those companies.

During his tenure with BancBoston, Wendell aggressively sourced new investment opportunities and reviewed more than 200 of them annually. He also spearheaded fundraising efforts and strategic partnerships. Before joining BancBoston, Wendell worked in fixed-income institutional sales for Oppenheimer and J.P. Morgan Securities.

Wendell earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead Scholar. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University where he was a Toigo Fellow.

In 2005, Wendell was awarded an Eisenhower Fellowship. He traveled to China and Taiwan to learn more about the region’s population, economy, wealth creation, and securities regulations. This fellowship enhanced Wendell’s understanding of how to build businesses that can thrive in our global economy.

In the same year, the editors of Black Enterprise added Wendell to their "Hot List"—an annual roster of "extraordinary professionals and entrepreneurs under the age of 40 who have transformed American business using innovative products and practices."

Wendell resides in Chapel Hill, NC with his wife and their two sons.
