Vice President of Marketing and Sales
Karl Hampton is Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Worldwide Distribution, LLC. He brings with him more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience with Fortune 500 national and multinational retailers. Karl has successfully managed a variety of key business functions including strategic business development, regional management, store launches, profit and loss responsibility, marketing and advertising, and procurement.

Most recently, Karl served as regional vice president, regional manager and division manager for Circuit City Stores, Inc. During his 12-year tenure, he managed retail stores and automotive and installation sales that generated total annual revenues of $440 million. In addition to maximizing profitability, Karl was responsible for 1,200 associates.

Prior to Circuit City, Karl worked in the retail marketing division of BP Oil. As director of marketing and advertising, Karl was instrumental in the successful rollout of BP's ProCare automotive repair division. He also managed ProCare repair centers and convenience stores. Additionally, Karl served as a senior manager of procurement for BP refineries.

Karl earned his Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina A&T State University. He lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and their three children.
